Description
Purpose & Scope: This crucial role will be responsible for serving as the key point of contact between internal and customers while delivering on promises and facilitating the timely production of plastic goods.
Essential Duties May Include:
· Communicating with customers via phone, email, fax, etc. to identify any needs and requests
· Reviewing open order report daily to guarantee customer deliveries are timely and accurate
· Receiving and entering orders/change orders in IQMS
· Maintaining a log of customer communication to ensure satisfaction and timely response
· Following up on the status of all orders and informing customer of any delays or issues
· Creating requisitions for supply orders and submitting to the Purchasing Department
· Partnering with the Planner/Scheduler and team to ensure production timelines are met
· Be involved with the quoting process and contract reviews to ensure understanding of promises made to customers
Requirements
· Proven experience (5 years) in plastics injection molding
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Be a team-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability read, write, and communicate in English
· Prior knowledge of IQMS or other ERP systems preferred
